The Office of Spiritual Leadership is excited to invite you to a time away in prayer and personal discipleship.  On the hallowed grounds of Camp Wesley Pines, clergy are invited to come to 2024  Spiritual Wellness Retreat, April 18-20, 2024.  Our theme is “Lifted Hands” and comes from Psalm 141: 2  ““ May my prayer be set before you like incense;  may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.”

We will gather at Camp Welsey Pines at 1PM on Thursday, April 18^th and begin our time of prayer and sharing and personal reflection on our own discipleship journeys.  In addition, we will be shaping the Conference Prayer Service which will be at 11AM on Saturday, April 20^th at the Durr-Wise Center at Camp Wesley Pines.  Everyone is invited to join us for this special prayer service for the Mississippi Annual Conference as our leadership and delegation make their way to Charlotte, NC for General Conference.  The service will be streamed and recorded so that you may participate even if you cannot travel to Camp Wesley Pines.  We will also be sharing a prayer resource that include daily prayer focuses for each day of the General Conference. 

 The cost is $200 for the three day event, and participants will be awarded 2.0 CEU credits.  An additional 1 CEU credit, and 8 YR Assessment credit will be given for those who complete a self-directed prayer focus following our time together.  Bishop Lewis has issued a mighty call for the United Methodists of MS to become a people of prayer.  We have seen how our obedience and faithfulness to this call has already unleashed moments of new hope and fire within our people.  May we continue to seek His face that revival may come and that the Mississippi Annual Conference will become who God is pruning us and urging us to be as a  living, vital part of the Kingdom.
