Youth and family ministries in the Mississippi United Methodist Conference exist to live out The POWER of We. Galvanized by the Core Values- love, generosity, justice and apprenticeship - our passion is to equip today’s youth workers with resources and training. The goal is that youth leaders may understand the current youth culture and learn how the church can partner with parents so that the church is part of a student’s spiritual formation. Our prayer is that we can help nurture the next generation of spiritual leaders while they are young. Through our conference events, Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) and the Student Ministry Initiative (SMI) movement, we are seeking to be part of the bigger story Christ is telling.
