Mississippi Conference clergy and lay gather in prayer during the 2023 Session of the Mississippi Annual Conference.

Everyone is invited to join us for a special prayer service for the Mississippi United Methodist Conference as our leadership and delegation make their way to Charlotte, North Carolina for General Conference. The prayer service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Durr-Wise Retreat Center at Camp Wesley Pines.

It will also be streamed on YouTube so that you may participate even if you cannot travel to Camp Wesley Pines. We will also be sharing a prayer resource that includes daily prayer focuses for each day of the General Conference.

Bishop Sharma D. Lewis has issued a mighty call for the United Methodists of Mississippi to become a people of prayer. We have seen how our obedience and faithfulness to this call has already unleashed moments of new hope and fire within our people.

May we continue to seek His face that revival may come and that the Mississippi United Methodist Conference will become who God is pruning and urging us to be as a living, vital part of the Kingdom.
